• Born in Troy and a resident of Miami County for 62 years.

• Graduated from Miami East High School - 1960

• Graduated from the University of Dayton, B.S. in Civil Engineering - 1966

• Worked for Dayton Power & Light Co. - 1966 to 1973

• Employed as Miami County Chief Deputy Engineer - 1973 to 1979

• Assumed duties as Miami County Engineer - 1979 to present

• Filled the unexpired term of Arthur Haddad in 1979 and currently serving his 7th term as County Engineer.
