Interviews recipients to determine eligibility for Public Assistance programs, including Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Food Assistance, Medicaid, and others. Computes budgets, obtains documentation. Maintains caseload and updates computer system. Must interpret state and federal regulations. Riverside Board of Developmental Disabilities-Facilities Specialist-Full Time

Maintains a safe environment within and outside of the Riverside DD facility and provides continual maintenance to the Riverside DD facility and all Community Capital properties. Provide supervision and maintenance of the facility during evening and/or weekend events, per request, and provide emergency after-hours maintenance to all Community Capital properties. The Facilities Specialist will be available during any emergency that occurs, to include, emergency alarm calls, mechanical failures, etc.

Miami County Juvenile Court-Community Service Youth Supervisor-Part Time

Provides on-site supervision to juveniles participating in the court ordered community gardening program.  Monitors and reports youth’s participation in program.  Provides supervision and direction to youth in the gardening program.  Supervises youth behavior and acts as a mentor to youth in program.  Transports youth to and from site in County vehicle. Miami County Sheriff's Office-Corrections Officer-Full Time
Corrections officers are responsible for overseeing individuals who have been arrested and are awaiting trial or who have been sentenced to serve time in jail. In Miami County the Sheriff’s Office operates two jail facilities and staff both with corrections officers. The first is a 43 bed facility located in downtown Troy and is considered maximum security, holding our highest risk inmates. The second jail is located in CR 25a north of Troy and is a 240 bed facility holding less serious male offenders and females. Corrections Officers rotate between both locations. Duties include: Periodic patrols and checks; monitoring inmate living quarters; screening visitors; inmate counts and other duties as required.

Miami County Children's Services Board-Caseworker I-Full Time

Performs In-Home and Alternative Response duties; coordinates in-home activities as required by the state regulations; makes home visits at least bimonthly; provides transportation as needed; facilitates and supervises visits, as needed, when child is not in the parental home; provides crisis intervention for families;

Miami County Public Health-EH Intern-Temporary
Responsibilities will include; Collect and deliver samples such as water samples, effluent samples, etc. and perform other routine environmental sampling. Perform routine measurements of water quality parameters of swimming pools such as chlorine residual, pH, etc.  Report observations and conversations to a sanitarian after investigating a public health nuisance complaint.  Conduct field surveys and personal interviews with homeowners, e.g. sewage surveys. This may involve the use of sewage dyes to determine the presence/absence of the dye at specific locations.  Interview and collect information from animal owners/bite victims regarding the circumstances of a biting incident. Contact animal owners to inform them of applicable rules and to determine the health/vaccination status of the biting animal.  Some data entry of information collected in the field and may assist with report writing.

Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services-Recovery Home Coordinator-Part Time Pool Positions

David L. Brown Youth Center-Resident Advisor-Full Time
Acts as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team in a residential corrections treatment program. Responsible for ensuring the stability of the daily milieu by managing youth behaviors utilizing treatment interventions in accordance with established treatment milieu of reality therapy and coordinating the duties of other direct care staff.
